Valentina Sinenko March 27, 2019 Valentina Sinenko, 89, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at home. She was born in Zaporizhzhya, Ukraine and had lived in the Syracuse area for 26 years. She was a communicant of St. Luke's Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Valentina was a devoted mother and wife, raising her beloved 5 children. She spent most of her time doing what she loved the most, spending time with her loving family and watching all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Valentina is predeceased by her husband, Ivan Sinenko and a son-in-law, Victor Sinenko. She is survived by her four daughters, Nina (Ivan) Dekhtyar of Lakeland, Lyubov (Ivan) Bogovin of Lakeland, Vera Sinenko of Camillus, Irina (Alexander) Dobyuk of Lakeland; one son, Volodymyr Synenko of Syracuse; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March, 30th in the St. Luke's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, in Warners. Burial will be in the St. Luke's Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday 5 to 7 p.m. at the Church, 3290 Warners Rd, Warners. Panakhyda services will be Friday 7 p.m. at the Church. .
