Olga Shewchuk, 86, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday February 13th 2019. Olga was a lifetime resident of Syracuse. She retired from the Henry Frank Leather Co. where she worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church where she served as the treasurer for over 61 years. Not only did she serve as church treasurer she also was the treasurer of the Orthodox Charitable Education Foundation and the Sisterhood of the Holy Annunciation and served on the Board of Directors of the St. Andrew's Camp. She was predeceased by her parents Daniel & Irene Shewchuk, two sisters Natalie and Mother Mary and her Brother Daniel Shewchuk. She is survived by a Niece & Nephew Dawn & Jin Proia and Thomas & Diane Shewchuk. She is also survived by several Nieces & Nephews and Great Nieces & Nephews. SERVICES: Funeral services will be conducted on Monday 10:00 AM in the Ss. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church. Olga will be laid to rest in the Ss. Peter & Paul Orthodox Cemetery. Calling hours will be held 4-7 PM Sunday February 17th in the Ss. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, 401 Hamilton St. Syracuse. The Panakhyda Service will be held at 6:30 PM Sunday at the Church.
