Robert "Bob" A. Richardson, II, 55, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday December 4, 2018 at his home. Bob was born in Watertown, NY and has lived in the Syracuse area for over 30 years. Prior to that he lived in Mannsville, NY and Anchorage, Alaska. Bob was employed as an Airport Operations Specialist at the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority. Prior to that he was the Duty Manager for Signature Flight Support of Syracuse. Bob had a great love for dogs. He was a member of the Golden Retriever Club of CNY, Onondaga Kennel Association and PAWS of CNY. He participated in many Dog Shows in Central New York and Canada. He had won many titles with his devoted Golden Retriever "Tripp". His latest passion was working with the PAWS of CNY where he and "Tripp" would visit various nursing homes in the Syracuse area bringing joy to the residents there. Bob also was a US Army veteran and a member of the Cicero American Legion Post 787. He will always be remembered for his warm, kind and generous personality and his great "goofy sense of humor.

He was predeceased by his parents Robert A. Richardson and Marian Shaw Richardson and a sister Alice Schuster

SERVICES: Calling hours for Bob will be held on Monday 4-7 PM at the Macko-Vassallo Funeral Home, 1609 West Genesee Street, Syracuse. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
