Thomas Paul Macko, 71, of Liverpool, passed away Monday December 3, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Tom was a graduate of West Genesee High School and a graduate of Oswego State College where he earned his Masters Degree in Education. He retired in 2004 from the North Syracuse Central School District where he taught at Roxboro Road School for 34 years. He was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church and a member of the NSEA Teachers Union. Tom had a great love for sports. He was a great fan of Syracuse University sports and the New York Yankees. He had a passion for nature and he loved his pets especially Chase.

He was predeceased by his parents Paul and Julia Macko

SURVIVORS: His wife of 44 years Cindy; his Daughter & Son in Law Kari and Dominic Marafioti; his Son Tim Macko

2-Grandchildren; Alessio & Marcello Marafioti

SERVICES: Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday December 8, 2018 at the Macko-Vassallo Funeral Home, 1609 W. Genesee St. Tom will be laid to

Rest in the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home.
