Ann M. Smith, 89, of Liverpool. passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024 at St. Camillus Health & Rehabilitation Center. Ann grew up in Lyncourt, she was a graduate of Central Tech Nursing School where she earned her LPN. She worked in the Open-Heart Step-Down Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital for many years. She was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. Ann was very active with the Salina Seniors group and enjoyed playing Bingo, and going on trips with her sisters. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loving family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph J. Smith, infant son, Donald, her parents, James & Esther Miller, sisters, Rita Miller, Betty Barling and grandson Daniel Lydon.
She is survived by her children, Stephen (Roberta) Smith, JoAnn (Mike) Lydon, Laura Goritski, sisters, MaryLou Malay, Cathy Rynkewicz, Dorothy Sperato, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren & many nieces & nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Catholic Family of Epiphany Church (formerly, St. Joseph's the Worker Church), 1001Tulip Street, Liverpool, NY 13088. a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 19, 2024 at 10:00 am in the Catholic Family of Epiphany Church.
