Helen Gula, 95, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at University Hospital. Helen was a lifetime resident of Syracuse. For many years she worked as a Switch Board Operator for various companies in the Syracuse area. Helen volunteered at the Van Duyn Home & Hospital and at Menorah Park of CNY. She and her husband Andrew were avid Syracuse University Sports Fans. She also enjoyed gardening, walking, and decorating Ukrainian eggs (Pysanky).
She was predeceased by her husband Andrew Gula who died in 2013.
She is survived by many nieces & nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 11:00 am in the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Salisbury Road, Syracuse.
