Olga M. Andruszewski, 82, of Liverpool, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Olga was born in Ukraine, and worked as a Chef for a meat producing company in Ukraine. She immigrated to the United States in 1995, to help with her daughter's family. She was a great influence and inspiration to her daughter and son in law and to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was instrumental in teaching them the language and traditions of the Ukrainian Culture. She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Irina (Anatoliy) Drulyk, of Liverpool, Luba (Myhaylo) Sopotnytska , a son, Bohdan (Luba) Bushta, and a brother Yaroslav (Irina) Brylovskiy all of Ukraine. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Monday April 18, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Macko-Vassallo Funeral Home, 1609 W. Genesee St., Syracuse, NY 13204. The Panakhyda Services will be held at 6:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 19, at 11:00 am at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 207 Tompkins St. Syracuse. Burial will be in the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
