John N. Hayduke March 1, 2022 John N. Hayduke, 63, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday March 1st at St. Joseph's Hospital. John worked in Food Service for the Syracuse City School District.
He graduated from Onondaga Community College where he majored in Criminal Justice. He enjoyed traveling with his lifetime companion Betsy Czerwinski, and also reading and spending time with family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Betty Hayduke. Surviving to cherish his memory are his companion of 25 years, Betsy Czerwinski, four brothers; Walter (Cindy), Michael (Vicki), Gregory, and Nicholas (Anita); two sisters Mary (Tom), and Patricia (George). He is also survived by his close and dear friends, James (Lynn) Medaj, Jimmy Medaj, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday March 6, 2022 from 4-7 pm at the
Macko-Vassallo Funeral Home, 1609 West Genesee St., Syracuse. Funeral services will be held on Monday March 7th at 10:00 am in the funeral home. John will be laid to rest at the Woodlawn Cemetery, 800 Grant Blvd, Syracuse, NY.
