Luba Popow, 96, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday at Iroquois Nursing Home. She was born in Ukraine and with her husband Iwan immigrated to the United States in April 1956. She retired from O.M. Edwards in 1990 where she worked as a janitress for 32 years. She enjoyed gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Iwan who died in 2002.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her loving daughters Anna Harris of Baldwinsville and Nina (Michael Gerber) Popow of Skaneateles, 2-grandchildren Matthew (Valerie Powell) Harris and Brian (Kate) Harris, 3-great grandchildren, Hayden, Mason and Ashtyn, and several nieces and nephews in Arizona and England and Germany.
Funeral services will be private.
