Peter Ivanovich Konfederat

Peter I. Konfederat, 93, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Peter was born in Ukraine, and later immigrated to the United States with his wife Yuliya in 1994. Peter was an active member of the First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church. He was well known for reciting poems and playing the harmonica in church which he enjoyed greatly. He enjoyed gardening and opening up his home as the main center for there get togethers. He loved spending time with family and friends.

He was predeceased by his wife, Yuliya who died October 11, 2023.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his sons and daughters in law, Zenon (Liliya) Konfederat, of Cleveland, OH, and Yuri (Lyubov), of Camillus; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A calling hour will be held Friday, March 27, 2026 from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm followed by a funeral service to be held at 7:00 pm at the First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church, 3875 Warners Rd, Syracuse. A second service will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 9:30 am at the church. Peter will be laid to rest in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners, NY.
