Anastasia Pototsky 90, of Camillus, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 17, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Kuty, Ternopil region, Ukraine. She married Ivan Pototsky and together they raised seven children. Her husband Ivan passed away on March 31, 2014.
She immigrated to the United States, and moved to Camillus, NY with her family on April 4th in 1990. She was an active member of the First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are her daughters Halina (Peter) Mayba of Camillus, Oksana (Nick) Timoshchuk of Chattanooga, TN, Ludmila Matsyuk of Geddes, and Nadia (Bogdan) Melnik of Camillus; sons, Vladimir (Lesya), Bogdan (Nadia) and Vasily (Nadia), all of Camillus; brother Ivan Mikhailechko of Ukraine; 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held Friday, August 22, 2025 at 6:00 pm, followed by a service at 7pm at First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church, 3875 Warners Rd, Camillus, NY. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 23 at 9:30 am. Anastasia will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners, NY.
