Patricia Ann Ciupa, 79, of Camillus, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Upstate University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Joseph and Genevieve Zawacki. For many years Patricia worked as an office manager for Genesee Dental Services. She enjoyed playing Bingo, every Friday night spending time with her sisters and friends, she always loved a good deal and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Paul Ciupa, and her siblings, Edward and Richard Zawacki, Lorraine Terry and Janet Marie Wiley.

She is survived by her two sons, David (Linda) Ciupa of Cheshire, CT and Christopher Ciupa of Camillus, two grandchildren Ava and Ryan Ciupa, three brothers, George Zawacki, Donald (Ann) Zawacki, Charles (Susan) Zawacki, sister Mary (Jim) Marcellus and several nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the St. Luke's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 3290 Warners Road, Warners, NY 13164 with a funeral service to follow. Patricia will be laid to rest in the St. Luke's Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery.

The family wants to give special thanks to Lawanda Brown who provided care and friendship to Pat for several years. Also, to the staff of Upstate University Hospital Unit 9F for all the care and comfort she received.
